Show Summary:
I decided to switch it up a bit this week with a 90’s Hip-Hop/Rap set During the second hour of the show. I began the show Rockin’ some electro beats from Andrew Red Hand, Letroset, UKV, Dr. Schmidt, & Pip Willaims. Also played a bunch of new stuff from Dominance Electricity. Including a couple tunes from the long awaited Blastromen Album which is now finally out, as well as a couple incredible tracks from the Global Surveyor Remix EP. This includes Komarken Electronics Avoid Society mix & The Exaltics Journey Mix which is one of the three remixes they did for the CD & Digi album also out now. One of the remixes they did was under a different alias Crotaphytus. Which I’ll play next week. Moving into the Rap portion of tonight’s show with Newcleus & the B Boys new track We Devolve I played a short mix I recorded back in March. This mix is the first I ever made with rap records. All the tracks are from OGC’s Da Storm Album. This album came out in 96 & is one of my favorite rap records. OGC is a group part of the Group Boot Camp Clik, which includes a huge roster of artists such as Black Moon & Sean Price. Also droped a dope track from a Britcore MC, Reach Da Repa with a killer beat produced by DJ Kura the track is called Lyrical Murder. And the Lyrics were murdered quite well. Show Summary:
This week we got the best of some new & some old. I played a couple brand new releases, the first being Binalog Frequency’s Funk Mechanic EP which is out now. Binalog Productions is fastly growing to be one of electro’s most active labels & one of the reasons I have named this the year of electro. Have you noticed it seems like this guy releases a new EP almost weekly. This EP features 2 versions of the track by label owner Binalog Freq. as well as a remix from the one & only Dj R21. Next I dropped Defekts remix of forgotten Secrets off Rouge Frequency’s EP which is now out exclusively at Junodownload. Then we whipped through some older tracks & started to wrap things up with a tune from The dexorcist off exzakt’s reworked & remixed EP. This is the tune that first got me hooked on electro. Finally tunes from Dj Mirage forthcoming on Devine Disorder, a track from Atonic preparing for his new album dropping in January, & another one from MCU forthcoming on Intellegenix (see august 12th 4 more info) Thanks for tuning see ya next week.

Show Summary:
So this week we played a good portion of older tracks as well as a couple new ones. Kicking things off I dropped an Uprokk tune Klockwerk Oranj which is an old favorite of mine so I decided to mix through a number of Uprokk tunes I have in my collection. If your not familiar with Uprokk he’s a producer from Florida who has collaborated with Exzakt/Monotone with various remixes & original tracks. He also Released on Transient Force & Frajile Records. Also I dropped a couple tracks off two new Devine Disorder releases. One is from Prototypes new EP, Log Into the Future which I’ll talk more about next week, & one from Donnie Diggler’s Evolution EP. These are both out now. Donnie Diggler is an artist from Florida, he dropped his first solo release on Devine Disorder on 2009 called the arrival and he was also on the Bass Warriors EP with DJ R21 and ZeroDouble the same year. This year’s brand new release also features remixes from Dwellz Rawkz & Magnetic Bass Force, with tonight’s original version currently number 3 on the Juno charts. thanks for tuning, keep it locked.
